002 (Medium)

Peter gave us a call to come in and do some small electrical jobs at his home in The Gap before Mothers Day. So we organised to be there at 7.30 this morning.

First of all was the replacement of some switches and the addition of a dimmer to the outside lights. Then there was the replacement of 6 existing lights with some good looking 13 watt tilting LED downlights and the addition of a dimmer as well asĀ  the replacement of three of the existing dimmers due to incompatibility with the new LED’s. These new lights will run much cheaper than the 50 watt Halogen globes we have taken out.

We also Replaced a faulty power point and took out a flickering light bulb and replaced it with one that did not flicker. (I suspect the filament was broken and making contact with vibrations)

Then the tricky job was to install a power point in the garage so that the Mothers Day present could be charged up. How thoughtful is that? Good luck there Peter but maybe when you bring her breakfast in bed, all will be forgiven.

A sincere Happy Mothers Day to all the Mum’s out there from all of us at Barry’s Electrical. We hope you have a wonderful day with family and friends.
