Megan sent a email through the website. It specifically requested help to repair a Telstra conduit at the boundary of the property. The fencing contractor bored through the conduit with the NBN, foxtel and telephone lines. Telstra have fixed the NBN line only and left all the other stuff the way it was.
After spending weeks trying to get a straight answer from NBN/Foxte/Tesltra, she was advised to seek an external contractor to make the repair to the conduit.
We waited for the stormy weather to pass over the weekend and on the Monday we went and dug out the hole and all the mud and water that was in the hole too. It was dirty, messy and the clay was very sticky, but we persisted and repaired the conduit with a split conduit cover followed by a second split conduit cover. We were very specific in trying to keep the inside wall of the conduit smooth to allow for the smooth pulling through of the other two broken cables. we also stripped and joined these cables mechanically so that they could be pulled through but we could not make electrical connections under the ground of these cables as that would be impractical.
This all took a little over an hour but was successful for the home owner, the contractor and the Telstra teams and all done within four days of the initial call for help. Sometimes we cannot believe how homeowners are treated by larger companies when there is a problem, and yet all that we did was to fix the problem promptly.

I am looking for some conduit to be repaired. Our fencing contractor erroneously cut through our NBN/Foxtel line. NBN have fixed their line but didn't fix the conduit. Now after spending weeks trying to get a straight answer from NBN/Foxtel/Telstra I have been advised to seek an external contractor to make the repair to the conduit. The conduit is broken right at the property entry point. Is this something you would do? Thanks Kind regards Megan
Thanks Chris for the job today. This was greatly appreciated.
Letting you know also that the payment has been made
